The farm was started in 1997 with 50 acres in Fluvanna County as it was our dream to have "Big green pastures and Little tiny horses".
Our first miniature horse was Aspen Ridge Farm's Ravishing Ruby. Having seen her at the Lexington Miniature horse show in 2001
and we just had to have her. She was a showgirl but we made her a mom producing show quality babies.
Buying and breeding increased our inventory to seventeen. Being a small family run farm, we can give all of them the attention,
care and love they need. They are are also handled and imprinted from birth.
We put our minis on display as attractions in support of county fairs, "Field Day of the Past", senior citizen homes and similar
events. By the time the babies are a year old, they may have traveled hundreds of miles and seen many hundreds of people.
This exposure helps them be people friendly and have a calm nature.
We welcome visitors to our farm, but please make reservations.
